Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NameAlert (the "Service"), a domain discovery and monitoring tool. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What NameAlert does

NameAlert helps you find domain names for your business. You describe your business, and we generate related domain keywords and monitor third-party domain auctions (such as GoDaddy Auctions) for names that match your keywords. When a match appears we can notify you by email.

NameAlert is a monitoring and discovery tool only. We are not a domain registrar, broker, escrow service, or auction house, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by GoDaddy or any registrar. We do not sell domains and you do not place bids through NameAlert — bidding, purchase, payment and transfer all happen on the third-party auction platform under that platform's own terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorised use at namealert@protonmail.com.

3. Credits, billing and refunds

• Monitoring a brand costs one credit. New accounts receive one free credit.
• Additional credits can be purchased in top-up packs (from $5). Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change from time to time.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Credits have no cash value.

4. AI-generated suggestions

Domain keyword ideas are generated automatically using artificial intelligence and are provided for inspiration only. We do not guarantee that any suggested name is available, unique, or free of third-party trademark or other rights. You are solely responsible for checking availability and for ensuring any name you register or use does not infringe the rights of others.

5. Third-party auction data and links

Auction information (domains, bids, bid counts, prices, appraisals and closing times) is sourced from third parties, may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and can change at any time. Always verify the current details on the auction platform before acting. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content, availability, or the outcome of any auction or transaction.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any third party's rights;
• scrape, resell, or redistribute data from the Service except as expressly permitted;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
• abuse the AI generation or notification features (for example, automated or excessive requests).

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NameAlert disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. NameAlert will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for any lost domains, opportunities, profits, or auctions, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm NameAlert, its users, or third parties.
